Got Beef!?!? Sometimes I wonder about sustainable living and how meat in particular ...

... is handled. Behind me is all the beef we carry, yes that’s seriously all beef 😅

First off the meat is shipped to us from around the country in refrigerated trucks. Then sits here for 21 days in our refrigerated warehouse. After that we ship it to the store in a refrigerated truck which is received to be stored in the customers refrigerator....

How many people are paid to handle each piece of meat I wonder... how much is spent in keeping the product cold... how much of it is waste in the end...

What I know is I’m happy to have this job but it has opened my eyes to the expenses occurred by business’s just in trying to receive their goods... this cannot be sustainable 🤔
